There is one independently owned scrapbook store in Birmingham. Scrapbook Mania at 3979 Parkwood Rd, Suite 105, Bessemer, AL 35022 located behind Arby’s off Morgan Rd

In our community there are two good sources for supplies, Hobby Lobby http://www.hobbylobby.com/ (check out their 40 % off coupon only available on the internet – print it out and take it to the store, and their weekly sales ad http://www.hobbylobby.com/weekly/weekly.cfm ) and Michael’s http://www.michaels.com/art/online/home. To get Michael’s coupons and get the sales ads sent by email you must sign up online. Check their web sites for store location, hours, etc.
I just recently found that Hancock Fabric has scrapbook supplies and some artist trading card supplies too. The link for the ATC things I noticed is here http://www.hancockfabrics.com/viewcategory.htm?categoryId=539751&start=217&sortby=&count=&
but there were many pages of products I didn’t get to look at yet (there are 147 pages in all).

We now have a Joann’s Fabrics in Hoover (Birmingham, AL suburb off I-459) across the street from the Galleria. I have shopped their online site for scrapbooking supplies, but have yet to get to the new store. Write a comment if you have visited and can tell us more.
I would love to find out about the crops. I have been looking for a group to crop with and am glad to know there is one here in Tuscaloosa. I live in Northport and love to scrapbook!

We would love to have you join us! We have our regular Friday night crop coming up this week and would be thrilled if you could make it! I will be there at 5 pm and others will begin to drift in after that. The only charge is $5 and that all goes as a donation to the Tuscaloosa Public Library.
